48 People Beheaded So Far in 2015, But Not By ISIS

(ANTIMEDIA) Saudi Arabia beheaded three men on Tuesday bringing the total decapitations carried out by the Saudi government in 2015 to 48.

It has taken only two-and-a-half months for the oil rich ally of the United States to surpass 50% of their execution totals for all of last year. Considering there were 87 government sanctioned beheadings in the Middle Eastern nation in 2014, Saudi Arabia is “well on track” to exceed any previously held records, according to Amnesty International.

While any official reason for the upswing in state killings is unclear, it should be noted that King Salman was crowned as the new king of the Sunni Muslim kingdom on January 23, 2015 following the death of his half brother, King Abdullah.

King Salman’s short reign has already been marked by his willingness to allow the death penalty to be administered.

Saudi Arabia has carried out around 80 executions annually since 2011.

Human rights abuses don’t always come in the form of death.

Last Thursday, Mohammed al-Bajadi, a founding member of one of the few independent human rights groups in Saudi Arabia was sentenced to ten years in prison.

As reported by The Guardian,

Bajadi, in his 30s, faced various accusations including acquiring banned books, organising a protest by the families of prisoners and publishing material that “would prejudice public order”, the group said.

Another activist, Raif Badawi was also recently sentenced to 1,000 lashes for “insulting Islam”.

Also in Saudi Arabia, the US Embassy in the capital city of Riyadh was shut down over the weekend due to “heightened security concerns”.

“On Friday, the embassy warned that Western oil workers could be the target of militant attacks,” the BBC reported late last week.

Why does the United States consider Saudi Arabia an ally, even though they are guilty of similar crimes the US points to when seeking military action against other Middle Eastern nations?

Obviously, Its Love for the Saudi people.

  5. Actually, the most Satanic agenda is the act of self worship. That is actually what satanism is. They live their lives solely for their own happiness. When those who fall into that trend are part of an organized religion such as Christianity, it turns very ugly very quick and yes as you said very satanic. But the base of any Christianity is SUPPOSED to be love and compassion but it seems that a lot of religious people like to twist love and compassion to somehow mean killing and hatred of other people who aren't their same religion.

  6. Aleaha Tussing , I think you're confusing the characters of some of the nice theists you know with the well established doctrines of their religion. The base of any Christianity is a fictitious/divinely conspired scapegoating scheme that plagiarizes from the violently misogynistic Hebrew Bible in order to justify its wickedly theistic agenda of man-god fear/worship.
I think it is nice that you want Christianity to be about love and compassion, but that is simply not the reality behind any of the Abrahamic religions. Though one may interpret their holy texts with a liberal skew, the fact is, extremists that idolize that ancient literature can clearly read words inspiring warfare that were written by cowardly, idiotic farmers from the bronze age, and they can easily cite text that promotes their ignorance-based agenda in this 21st century.
Unfortunately, what you think it is "supposed" to be about is really just a naive dream.

  7. Chuck Carr Notice I did say that many Organized religions fall into that trend. I am studying the bible right now, and several times in the bible, religious leaders took their own religion too far. That is what the Crucifixion of Jesus was. They crucified him because they said he falsely claimed to be messiah (even though the words "I am messiah" were never spoken during his court ruling), but what they really wanted back was power. He had so many followers that they feared the worse and killed him.
Now, if we look at the way Jesus lived his life, we will notice he hang out with low life people when none of the other religious Sagacious a priests and scribes would. They claimed themselves to be religious but instead cast all the sinners away like they were dirt. Anyone who actually knows anything about the REAL meaning of the religion knows that we are to live our lives like Jesus did and love EVERY SINGLE HUMAN. Jesus even had compassion for those who were not of his godly people. If you think for one second that Christianity is about beheading people and slandering gay people like Westboro Baptist, you are sorely mistaken and ultimately uninformed. It means that you have given in to the media's portrayal of religion that they only do harm. I have hardly ever seen it in the news that a church donates money to a charity or that a church donates money to children in India or Africa. All the media tells us is that as said before, we picket to shame gay people and tell them they are evil (which they aren't evil, that would be a ridiculous notion).
Point being, just because people read the bible and interpret it for their own evil gains does not mean that is what the religion is actually about.

  11. Aleaha Tussing You must be studying the cherry picked for the care bears version ,any contradictions are either bad interpretations or out of context . Your jesus

Advocates child abuse and murder amongst many other cruelties.

Jesus says that he has come to destroy families by making family members hate each other. He has “come not to send peace, but a sword.” Matthew 10:34

X divides and advocates violence and hatred .

Families will be torn apart because of Jesus. “Brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death." Matthew 10:21

Jesus strongly approves of the law and the prophets. He hasn’t the slightest objection to the cruelties of the Old Testament. Matthew 5:17

    Jesus advocates murder and death:

Jesus condemns entire cities to dreadful deaths and to the eternal torment of hell because they didn’t care for his preaching. Matthew 11:20

Jesus, whose clothes are dipped in blood, has a sharp sword sticking out of his mouth. Thus attired, he treads the winepress of the wrath of God. (The winepress is the actual press that humans shall be put into so that we may be ground up.) Revelations 19:13-15

The beast and the false prophet are cast alive into a lake of fire. The rest of us the unchosen will be killed with the sword of Jesus. “An all the fowls were filled with their flesh.” Revelations 19:20-21

Jesus says he is the only way to salvation yet he purposely disillusions us so that we will go to hell:

Jesus explains that the reason he speaks in parables is so that no one will understand him, “lest . . . they . . . should understand . . . and should be converted, and I should heal them.” Matthew 13:10-15

Jesus explains why he speaks in parables to confuse people so they will go to hell. Mark 4:11-12

    Jesus advocates child abuse:

Jesus is criticized by the Pharisees for not washing his hands before eating. He defends himself by attacking them for not killing disobedient children according to the commandment: “He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.” Matthew 15:4-7

Abandon your wife and children for Jesus and he’ll give your a big reward. Jesus asks that his followers abandon their children to follow him. To leave your child is abuse, it’s called neglect, pure and simple. Matthew 19:29

Jesus criticizes the Jews for not killing their disobedient children according to Old Testament law. Mark 7:9

Jesus says that those who have been less fortunate in this life will have it even worse in the life to come. Mark 4:25

Luke 12:47 Jesus okays beating slaves.

  12. Yes Kevin Vance, I see you did your research on the religion and come up with several passages that make Jesus seem like a hateful disgusting being and I could address every single one for you and explain why they do not mean what you might think they mean but you would not care to hear and most likely think it is a load of ignoramus, brainwashed christian drivel. Jesus came with a sword because the world is so marred and disgusting and corrupt that he was there to pass judgement. While we as humans must live like Jesus and love others, we are not here to use that sword ourselves, it is not our job to place judgement upon other humans. While I may not be beheading others who are not my religion, I myself sin too and therefore cannot judge them for their actions. Jesus though, who was a perfect being could carry that sword. While you may believe that Jesus was merely the average philosopher/ religious nut, it does not change the fact that the core of MY religion is for me to spread the LOVE of Jesus Christ and NOT any sort of harshness or judgement.

  13. U do realize that explaining to me what U think jesus/god meant by those words , that once u make that claim , U imagine u know gods mind and have committed blasphemy . That old book is not open to human interpretation . U need a few quotes to back that up ? i didnt find passages that made jesus look like , Jesus said those things and said he was clear and now apologists try to bend them to meet the sensibilities of a civilized society .There was a sad time in human history where these evil hocus pocus ppl didnt need to explain , they just burned and boiled and all those other lovely things the good book tells them to do to logical people ( PS no way jesus ever existed as in the bible , i simply mean the words attributed to the myth . i feel sad for any adult who can believe in hocus pocus ) .i only cite a few bad things from that evil book , it has thousands , it would be exhausting to hear U explain them all away. i barely touched the surface . We could start with how genesis is all wrong and how the creator didnt even know how he did it lol .And then the collapsed response after all is done is i have faith . Simply a weak emotional response , meaning i ve run out of logic/reason/ideas ,.Faith is simply willful ignorance , and for those too lazy to think and research. Ppl studying only one book looking for the big answers is sad .

  15. Well anyway, I don't wish to explain the foundations of why my religion is the true way that life started vs the big bang or whatever else. I was merely trying to show that while the god Christians worship may be strict and especially in the old testament , harsh (harsh would be a Euphemism I realize), us humans are not gods and can not try to fill that role. That is where I at the very beginning of the conversation talked about self worship, because the idea that we have the right to judge others and kill off other human beings in the name of religion is ludicrous. Honestly, if people don't agree with me that is fine but I do not enjoy non-Christians telling me what my own religion is about and citing bible verses that I have already read and understand far more then just a simple cynic could. I appreciate that you realize I am not judging though, I indeed had fun debating but neither of us it seems are going to change our minds haha XP

  16. Aleaha Tussing This is usually where the conversation ends with theists ( tho more politely from you )

Perhaps too much thinking causes cognitive dissonance and shakes the foundations of the unfounded faith that theists have built their entire foundation on . i know , i ve been there , it can be frightening to let all that go , and possibly family and friends along the way .

im suspicious when ones pronounced faith cannot stand up to scrutiny or examination , perhaps its not so strong and true after all and theists unconsciously know this , but need it to hang onto ?

You made a huge error in labelling me as simply a cynic . You know nowt about me and made a bad assumption .

i was a believer for many years , maybe many more than u as u appear quite young in your pic here .

Since a young child i have read and re read the bible ,(and still read it ) and had it explained to me via many so called theologans , priests etc .

One problem arose from outside the good book when all the book does is claim its true but nothing outside the book supports that , except " i have faith " , ( but does not end there ) .Historical/geographical/scientific claims made by that book have all been shown to be bogus .

I can cite many verses where this god has given rights and instructions to judge / murder others , but you say humans dont . And u can back those up with yet another contradictory verse in opposition to my claim .

Seems this omniscient , omnipotent god doesnt want us to understand after all ? Why all the mixed messages ? Seems if he is omnipotent and omniscient he knows all the outcomes , thus those who go to hell , well thats what they were designed for . im sure u can pull a verse to contradict that , but all u have are contradictions from a reported omnipotent omniscient perfect being .

You dont have to explain the basis of your foundations , and im not telling you what they are . Im well read in that book theists tout as the answer to everything , im telling you what that book says , and if your following the book , as the book instructs you to , then i am able to already know what your foundation is .Even if your cherry picking .

i can find at least one verse where u are instructed to witness , Ie explain why your faith is ,but as problematic as this book is , you would come back with another verse saying you dont have to . So for a book claiming an infinie beings wisdom , you must see the problems/inconsistencies in that idea ?

It may be helpful to others if you could explain why your religion is the TRUE way life started , are you saying you have the knowledge but are unwilling to share it ?

Your with holding knowledge that may enlighten others and save them from eternal seperation from god ?

i for one would love to hear a new twist on how the creation story in genesis can be true .

You seemed to allude to me being a cynic , on whom you had more knowledge than , i respectfully call you on that claim and invite you to share the information that may save my and millions of more lives .

Seems i took exception to a claim i was a cynic with less knowledge/understanding than you

Wasnt it Luther who called Reason a whore and the enemy of faith ?

  17. Aleaha Tussing , please allow this "uninformed" guy to help you with your study.
First of all, 2,000 years ago, nobody was called "Jesus".

Geee-zuz is a bad transliteration of a terrible translation. The dude's name was Yeshua, as 1 in 5 boys were named around that time in Jerusalem. Why was that name so popular back then among Jews? Well, because Jerusalem was under occupation. And what is the title of the bloodiest, most violent book in the Hebrew Bible? All of them are pretty repugnant with murder death kills, but by far the bloodiest is "Joshua". And "J"s still make a Y sound in many a language today, as they did back then. Those ancient Israelites wanted a violent revolution. They wanted a leader /prophet to KILL Romans. That is why so many parents named their sons "Yeshua" back then. (Not "Jesus"… so if you're trying to have a personal relationship with a dead guy, you might as well refer to him by the only name he ever knew)

The Romans crucified thousands of people. Yeshua, a guy powerless to prevent himself from being tortured to death, was sentenced to crucifixion for the crime of "cleansing the temple", which nobody really noticed (have you seen 3-D models of the temple? it was massively huge and back then filled with thousands of people during many a Jewish holiday) But he did make a big mess for one, two or maybe a few Jewish merchants, who were just trying to make a profit that day, (not deal with a cocky self-proclaimed prophet).

Yeshua made the mess because his ego was all pumped up by his disciples. Why? Well, because dude could rap about "scripture" (which was unique for poor folks back then, as most couldn't read) and he was taking credit for the placebo effect. You must know that those morons back then had no idea that germs existed. They didn't know what planets, stars, comets and lightning were, so they certainly had no clue about the microscopic world. "Faith healings" were nothing more than a placebo effect. That, or the "sick" person wasn't really that ill to begin with and just wanted to beg or get a few minutes of fame from the latest prophet passing through town.

Yeshua thought he was a big man on campus thanks to his little crew of roadies cheering him on for his doctor-within-a-border schtick. (also, dude was literate and had pretty good reading comprehension, which was really rare for a peasant back then) So this educated poor guy, who could debate with leaders in his religion (seriously pissing them off) and who was more than happy to take credit for the placebo effect, was feeling high and mighty from all the fanfare. His ego compelled him to try making a fuss about his religion in a temple packed with people, and in the process, seriously pissed off some semi-powerful fellow Jews.

The Church refers to the scene as "Jesus cleansing the temple", but what he actually did was make a small mess in the corner of the temple, but it was significant enough for several people that were just trying to make some coin that day.

These merchants had some clout, and they went to the Romans in power and demanded they do something about Yeshua and his gang of vandals. So they did.

I would think Yeshua felt bad about the whole thing and didn't want his friends going down with him, so he made sure to take the whole rap himself.

"Jesus" has his ego pumped up via the placebo effect, and then made a small mess in a massive flea market.

THAT is why Yeshua was crucified.

Kevin Vance, I would love to hold a discussion as you so please but I usually do not have debates on public forums merely for the potential annoyance of people intervening and in general imputing things that steer the conversation off course. You seem sincere and if you wish, you can message me and I will debate until I am blue in the face.

  19. Yes as the story goes thats why X was crucified .

But in real physical form this dude never exited outside of the great lie/myth

Years reading comparitive religions has revealed that to me .

As in all the tall tales in the bible X is a myth/lie , based on and plagarized from myths millenia older than the X myth .

The studies are too extensive for one post , but some imports to note are all the previous myths to X

There is not even ONE shred of evidence for this miracle mans existence . He performed miracles and had multitudes of followers , his actions written about were fulfilling Jewish Prophecy , yet not even ONE word is written on him outside of the BuyBull , this was one of the most prolific eras for historical writings , Ie Philo of Alexandria , lived within a 90 mile radius of all this apparent activity , he wrote of the coming messiah , yet miraculously missed his writings being fulfilled .

Historical records from this era were meticulously kept , and not one VALID word is mentioned of the miracle man , whom upon his death the temple curtain was torn ( if one knows the significance of this in Judaism ,and im feeling Chuck Carr does , as hes obv. well read ) , and no one noticed , dead rose and walked amongst the living , the sky blackened and there were earth quakes . All missed in any valid historical record .

Philo is only one of i think about 41 writers at the time who were silent on their own messianic prophecy being fulfilled .

    Why is that ?

X is not the son of god , X is the sun of god . A personification of a sun myth .

The historical writings on this are extensive , Ie 2 best places to start are R.M. Price and D.M. Murdock

Do you know the the hundreds of millions of man, women, and children this religion has massacred, and raped throughout the planet especially here throughout the Americas? Why would anybody join something that came from evil and always has been including all religions. God is pure unconditional love… Ill die for it just like our ancient indigenous spiritual warriors through the world.(Jesus, Gandhi, Sitting bull, Crazy Horse, Chief Jo, the shaolin, the zulu nation, our native americans and so on, this people were the true warriors of the light in this planet who were part of the greatest genocide in history (please don't mix them up with religion, most were executed because of it…the bible is no that old, if your going to debate than keep farther into history 100's of thousands of years ago where it came from in mesapotania and ancient sumeria. What's older paper or rocks? You have alot of research to do ma".

  25. He speaks in parables so the foolish and hateful can expose themselves for what they are by not understanding what he actually is saying. If you understand what he said as evil you expose yourself for the evil that is in your heart you want to see. When or if you finally understand the truth you'll wonder why you were so blind for so long and what his message is really about.
