(TheAntiMedia) This week, a man named Ali Agridas was publicly beheaded in Saudi Arabia for buying drugs. Beheadings are a fairly common practice in Saudi Arabia, in fact, this weeks beheading brings the number of government sanctioned executions to 70 for the year so far.

Agridas was reportedly a Turkish visitor who was in Saudi Arabia for an extended trip.

The country currently has one of the highest rates of execution on the world, and beheading is their method of choice.

Meanwhile, the United States government is preparing to start wars because the group known as ISIS has beheaded a number of people on video. As with many of the acts of violence that take place in the middle east, the Saudi Arabian government is given a pass commit atrocities, while neighboring territories can be invaded under the pretenses of a humanitarian mission.

Despite the incredible amount of power that the political system holds in Saudi Arabia, the royal family’s hold on power is beginning to slip, as the Saudi king is getting old and his health is beginning to deteriorate.

However, it is unlikely that anything will change in his death, because his successors will presumably continue to maintain the same goals and connections.

  1. Great ally. Nice government. We should have let Saddam Hussein invade them and take over that country.

  2. What a stupid comment, Hussein was known to execute people on a regular basis, kidnap civilians during the night whom were never seen again, use chemical weapons on civilians. God only knows how many deaths he was responsible for.

  5. Until we stop executions in our own nation, it would be seen as high hypocrisy to ostracize other countries for what they do with their condemned …

  7. Ryan O'Donohoe you dont think that isnt going on here? fluoride was used by the nazis and now we use it on everybody in water. we kill people for stupid crimes almost daily. texas still uses a firing squad. what about the nato 5 arrested in chicago a couple of years ago? ever hear about them. just went before a judge after 2.5 years. before that no charges were on record. if you think the U.S. is so great you should open your eyes and get out of the bubble you live in.

  9. To compare MASS beheading y ISIS to the Saudi's form of execution is pretty lame. 70 is a good day for ISIS. Not to mention execution style shootings and mounting heads on fence post, burying people alive…….. A little dumb to make a comparison.

  11. I could a problem if the beheadings were based on where the condemned were from , or because of their choice of religion, unlike isis , and we all know why and who these choose to execute

  14. Jack Carswell Another bad comparison and a blatant slap in the face to the US soldiers that served honorably in Vietnam, then came home to be treated like trash by people that had no idea, what they really did. Unfavorable war yes, but not the soldiers fault, that were just trying to do their best and keep each other alive.

  15. What is more inhuman? Beheadings or keeping people locked up & torturing them, force feeding them in Guantanamo?
